Stalwart and Ferret Mk2
Stuart has recently purchased a Stalwart amphibious truck and a Mk2 Ferret in England and shipped them to the west coast of America. Following is a selection of the photo's he has provided along with some of his comments.
Both Stuart and his wife Jane travelled to England to verify that the vehicles were as specified and to be trained in the idiosyncracies of English mechanicals.
Evidently they quite enjoyed the experience.

Stuart's Stalwart and Jane's Ferret (peeking out from under the tarp) ready for delivery to the shipping agent.

Side by side picture of both units after having been checked, worked on, cleaned and brought up to a high standard by the supplier.

Jane's very neat looking Mk2 Ferret. About the only non-armament thing I can see missing is the sand channel.

This is a picture of Jane in her Ferret before it got blasted to bare metal and just after they replaced the transmission, hence the turret being off. From her facial expression, you can see what she thinks of her new toy. Actually the timing was perfect because without the turret, it was easier for Jane to get driving instructions on the fly.
When I commented that I think the attraction of the Ferret for collectors is it's small size and availability (you CAN park one in a standard garage -whereas most AFV's won't fit comfortably) Jane said she has one thing to add to that: "it's cute too!"
All I can say is -how does Stuart do it? My wife tolerates my hobby, but Stuart's wife Jane not only wants to join in but have her own vehicle!
