Interested in writing an article?
I am always looking for articles for this website. If you think you can contribute something that is relevant then please contact me.
If you are serving military or ex-military, I am aware that you have to be mindful of secrecy. I do NOT want anything that will cause problems, either for yourself or me, all information I put on this site must be "public domain" (not classified).
It is my policy to act as a "firewall" between the people who submit material to me and those who can read it on the website. Thus, unless the submitter specifically requests that I identify them and/or include their email address, I normally only identify them by first name and country.
I have a pretty broad view of what is appropriate material as the visitors to this site seem to fall mainly into the following categories:
1) Military vehicle enthusiasts, but who do not necessarily own an AFV.
2) Ex- and current, military personnel.
4) Those looking to buy an AFV.
5) Actual AFV owners.
6) Miscellaneous: this is a real catch all. I have had feedback from quite a diverse range of people eg.,
A female art student whose teacher assigned her the Chieftain tank as a project.
A bloke who needed info on track technology,
Another bloke wanting to explore the feasibility of selling rides in AFV's:
Most unpredicted of all, was from a singer of a band called "the losttorpedos", who needed some pictures for their website/cd cover, hopefully I have pointed them in the right direction!
I have even provided scans of an AN/Vic-1 installation manual to US Marine Corp personnel so that they could install one in an M60A3 tank, heavens knows why they had to come to me to get it, but that is what happened.....................
So the interest and subject matter can be quite broad.
